In August 2024 Verbio has launched the commercial production of corn-based ethanol at its biorefinery facility in Nevada, Iowa. With the start of ethanol production in addition to its large-scale RNG business, the plant has completed Phase II of its strategic plan. Operating as a full biorefinery, we purchase corn as the feedstock from our local growers surrounding our facilities.
Verbio is proud to sell back the co-products of this process – corn oil, humus and liquid fertilizers. The Verbio ethanol set up is unique to our brand, utilizing the stillage of the ethanol production to make additional RNG. Verbio has set up a total capacity to produce 60 million gallons of corn-based ethanol annually and 2.3 million MMBtu of RNG at the Nevada, Iowa location.

Receiving Hours Monday thru Friday are 7 AM to 330 PM unless other wise noted below.
Currently only accepting contracted bushels.

Bids
Verbio is proud to purchase up to 20 million bushels of corn annually from local growers. The corn we use to produce ethanol is sourced locally. We collaborate with a lot of growers, striving to offer fair prices.
