Our Products for Sustainable Fertilizing

Verbio converts corn stover to renewable natural gas (RNG). The facility is currently being expanded to include bioethanol production with associated biomethane production. The ethanol process will produce RNG from stillage, a co-product from the corn-based ethanol production. While producing ethanol and biomethane, four other co-products will be created for retail: an NPK fertilizer, an ASL fertilizer and two humus products which act as a soil conditioner.

Humus

Following the production of renewable natural gas, we are left with a co-product known as humus. It is similar in appearance to peat moss or compost.

Corn Oil

We are continuously seeking improvements in our technologies and production processes. This sustainability approach opens the door for other new co-products, such as corn oil.
